Born in Canada, she grew up across different countries, developing strong cultural adaptability.
With over 11 years as a Cardiac Physiologist, she bridges conventional and ancestral medicine through her work at Terra do Sol & Solar, in alliance with indigenous people & forests.
AMANDA GOIS
Amanda Gois is dedicated to preserving Indigenous knowledge in the Amazon, working as a translator and cultural facilitator bridging Western and Indigenous worlds. She partners closely with Aldeia Mutum and the Rio Gregório Indigenous Territory, supporting the Yawanawá people and maintaining direct relationships with local villages. Her work reflects a deep commitment to sustainability and the protection of the Amazon as essential to planetary balance. Through lived experience within Yawanawá traditions, she integrates ancestral wisdom with regenerative practices to strengthen Indigenous autonomy and protection.
ISABELLE SANTOS
Isabelle Santos is a permaculture practitioner with over ten years of experience in environmental regeneration and sustainable living. Recognized for her environmental activism in Recife, promoting community gardens and composting initiatives in partnership with the city government and the Aldeia Lixo Zero project.She co-founded Aldeia da Vida, an initiative dedicated to Indigenous ancestral practices, working closely with the Yawanawa people. Her work focuses on strengthening cultural identity, protecting territories, and bridging Indigenous knowledge with contemporary socio-environmental solutions.
THALES Paschoalino
As part of the Terra do Sol team, he immersed himself in Indigenous traditions, serving in roles from hands-on support to translator and cultural guardian across Europe and Armenia.
Through Aldeia Lixo Zero, he supports Indigenous communities both in Europe and in the forest, working directly with the land and its guardians.
Fê gebara
Fê co-idealised Aldeia Lixo Zero alongside Mariazinha and Julia Yawanawá, Indigenous leaders from Mutum, within Yawanawá territory. She is a Brazilian writer, scientist, and mother with over 17 years of experience in Indigenous collaboration, biodiversity conservation, climate action, and behavior change. She works with the Yorenka Tasorentsi and Runyn Pupykary Yawanawá Institutes to protect Indigenous rights and preserve traditional knowledge and medicines. Her work focuses on supporting elders and ensuring ancestral knowledge is safeguarded for future generations.
